Abode Farm is a certified organic vegetable farm located in New Lebanon, New York, operating on 12 certified acres. We supply fresh vegetables, herbs, and flowers to our Community Supported Agriculture members, local farmers markets, schools, food pantries, restaurants, and distributors. Our farm emphasizes soil health through diverse crop rotation, cover cropping, composting, and mineral amendments, avoiding synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. We work with Belgian draft horses and tractors to maintain ecological balance and sustainability. Our mission is to provide accessible, nourishing, and high-quality produce while fostering farm-based education and community engagement. We have a rich history rooted in native and Shaker agricultural traditions and are committed to environmentally responsible practices that support local food systems and regional resilience.
