Chelan Fruit Cooperative, based in Chelan, Washington, is a grower-owned organization with approximately 300 members. The cooperative cultivates and processes conventional and organic apples, pears, cherries, plums, and pluots across 12,750 acres spanning from the Canadian border to Central Washington. Operating six production facilities, Chelan Fruit produces 7 to 8 million boxes of fruit annually, marketed through Chelan Fresh. In 2022, Chelan Fruit was acquired by International Farming Corporation and partnered with Sage Fruit Company to enhance sales and distribution capabilities. The cooperative maintains Level 3 SQF Certification and has implemented digital systems to streamline food safety and compliance processes.
