Dancing TreePeople Farm is an organic orchard located in Upper Lake, California, with 11 certified acres dedicated to sustainable walnut production. We have been growing walnuts organically for over 50 years and have embraced permaculture principles since 2000. Our farm features an organic vegetable garden, a greenhouse, natural buildings, and two experimental permaculture food forests. We operate a 7.85 kilowatt solar energy system that supplies all our electrical needs and cook with solar ovens. As a community-focused farm, we prioritize education, innovation, and sustainable living, offering hands-on projects and workshops that promote ecological resilience and organic farming practices. Our approach supports food producers, educators, and sustainability advocates seeking authentic, certified organic ingredients and permaculture-inspired solutions.
