About
Flatwater Farms is a certified organic farm located in Buchanan, Michigan, cultivating over 65 acres with a focus on sustainable and regenerative practices. We grow more than 40 varieties of vegetables, extend our growing season using geothermal energy and a wood-fired heat siphon, and keep bees. Our land is enriched with native plantings and cover crops to promote soil health. We produce high-quality, nutritious food for local markets and Community Supported Agriculture programs, including fresh vegetables and hops for a farmhouse brewery. We prioritize soil building, biodiversity, and community engagement to enhance the environment and provide fresh, seasonal produce to our customers.
