Geary Brewing Company, established in 1983 in Portland, Maine, holds the distinction of being New England's first craft brewery post-Prohibition, possessing federal craft brewing license #13. The brewery offers a diverse range of beers, including heritage styles brewed in open fermentation and contemporary varieties crafted in closed fermentation. Their portfolio features hazy IPAs, porters, stouts, fruited lagers, sours, gluten-removed pale ales, and house-brewed root beer. Geary's also provides contract brewing services for beer, cider, and seltzer, supported by two brewhouses and advanced packaging lines. Visitors can enjoy tastings in their seasonal beer garden and purchase products on-site.
