Lava Lake Land & Livestock L C is a family-owned organic ranch located in Carey, Idaho, dedicated to producing grass-fed and wild range lambs. We manage over 60,000 acres of certified organic pasture and range lands, with more than 17,000 acres protected by conservation easements. Our operation emphasizes sustainable land stewardship, animal well-being, and conservation practices rooted in traditional ranching combined with science-based methods. Bordered by Craters of the Moon National Monument, our diverse landscape spans sagebrush plains, lava flows, and mountain ecosystems, supporting over 100 bird species and keystone wildlife such as wolves, elk, and mountain lions.
