Montana Premium Processing Cooperative is a USDA certified meat processing facility based in Havre, Montana. We serve local ranchers and farmers by providing slaughtering, meat processing, and smoking services for beef and other livestock. Our facility is designed to process 12 to 15 animals daily and features a new smokehouse for value-added products such as smoked meats, sausages, and jerky. We operate as a member-owned cooperative, ensuring producers retain the value of their livestock and have reliable slaughter schedules. Our collaboration with Montana State University-Northern supports meat science education and workforce development. We focus on localizing USDA certified meat processing to meet Montana’s demand and support regional producers in retailing high-quality, home-grown meat products.
