Underwood Fruit and Warehouse Co., doing business as Mount Adams Fruit, is a grower-driven packing cooperative founded in 1917 with approximately 55 member growers farming 90 orchard properties in the Columbia River Gorge. Specializing in apples, pears, and cherries, Underwood packs and ships both conventional and organic fruit from state-of-the-art facilities in Bingen, White Salmon, and The Dalles, with a headquarters office in Yakima, WA. Leveraging GlobalGAP practices, traceability systems, refrigerated storage, optical sorting, and railroad/port logistics, the company supplies domestic retail chains, foodservice networks, and international markets.
