Planting Justice is an Oakland-based organic farm and urban nursery dedicated to growing biodiverse, sustainable food crops including fruit trees, berries, and native plants. We operate a large organic nursery with over 1,500 edible tree varieties and a commercial kitchen supporting community food justice initiatives. Our work integrates urban agriculture, food distribution, and holistic programming to promote food sovereignty and economic opportunity for communities impacted by systemic oppression. We provide certified organic plant stock, sustainable farming practices, and community education to support food system resilience and social equity.
