Farmer and the Cook is an organic farm, café, bakery, and community-supported agriculture operation based in Ojai, California. We cultivate 12 acres of CCOF-certified organic farmland and produce seasonal vegetables, herbs, and fruits for our farm-to-table menu and bakery. Our services include baking, fermentation, juicing, espresso, and smoothie preparation, supporting local food systems and sustainable practices. We operate a community CSA program that connects consumers directly with our soil and harvest, fostering local food resilience. Since 2001, we have served as a community gathering spot, emphasizing organic ingredients, local sourcing, and educational outreach to enhance food security and sustainability in the region.
