Snakeroot Organic Farm is a certified organic farm located in Pittsfield, Maine, with over 70 years of combined experience in sustainable agriculture. We operate five acres of diversified gardens producing vegetables, fruits, herbs, and perennials, along with a 450 tap maple sugarbush and six greenhouses for seedling and vegetable production. Our practices are certified by MOFGA and the Real Organic Project, emphasizing soil health and pasture-raised standards. We supply fresh produce, maple syrup, and seedlings to local markets, CSA members, and wholesale buyers. Our farm focuses on education, transparency, and promoting organic farming methods to support sustainable food systems.
