The Food Group is a nonprofit organization based in Marine on Saint Croix, Minnesota, dedicated to increasing access to nutritious, sustainable foods through farming, distribution, and community programs. We operate Big River Farms, an incubator farm providing land, resources, and education to emerging organic farmers, and support food equity initiatives across Minnesota. Our efforts include training programs, farm resource development, and innovative projects like agrisolar collaborations to promote sustainable agriculture. We focus on building a just food system that respects cultural diversity, dignity, and environmental sustainability, serving food producers, community organizations, and procurement partners seeking reliable, certified organic produce and farm support services.
